Welcome to BC BUD. These terms set out the rules for using our website and buying from our store. By browsing this site or placing an order you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Eligibility

1.1. Age requirement: You must be at least 19 years old to browse, order or receive products from BC BUD. We may refuse or cancel any order where we have reason to believe the age requirement is not met.

1.2. Location: We ship within Canada only. There are no exceptions, and we do not ship internationally under any circumstances.

1.3. Personal use: Products sold on this site are for personal use. Reselling our products is not permitted.

2. Accounts

2.1. Account required: An account is required to place an order. You can register during checkout.

2.2. Your responsibility: You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

2.3. Accuracy: You agree to give accurate and current information, particularly your shipping address. We are not responsible for orders sent to an address you entered incorrectly.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1. Order acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where a product is mispriced or out of stock.

3.2. Payment methods: We accept Interac e-Transfer and cryptocurrency. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, cash on delivery or cheques. Orders are not processed until payment has been received.

3.3. Minimum order: A minimum order value of 50 Canadian dollars (CAD) applies before shipping.

3.4. Unpaid orders: Orders that remain unpaid may be cancelled and the stock released.

3.5. Pricing: All prices on this site are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and may change without notice. The price shown at the time your order is placed is the price that applies.

3.6. Reward points: Points are earned on eligible purchases and can be redeemed against future orders in accordance with the terms shown on our Rewards page. Points carry no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be adjusted or removed if an order is cancelled or refunded.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1. Rates: Shipping is a 20 dollar flat rate, and is free on orders over 150 dollars.

4.2. Carrier and timing: Orders ship by Canada Post Xpresspost, typically arriving within 1 to 3 business days once dispatched. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

4.3. Packaging: All orders are packaged discreetly and shipped with tracking.

4.4. Carrier delays: We are not responsible for delays, service disruptions or handling errors caused by the shipping carrier, or for delays caused by weather, strikes or other events outside our control.

4.5. High risk delivery areas: Some postal areas have a significantly higher rate of loss. Orders shipped to postal codes beginning with X, R0B, R8N, J0M or N0H are sent at the customer’s own risk, and we cannot offer replacements or refunds for parcels lost in those areas.

4.6. Delivered parcels: Once tracking shows a parcel as delivered, responsibility for it passes to you. We are not liable for parcels that are stolen or go missing after delivery has been confirmed.

4.7. Incorrect addresses: Orders returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address may be reshipped at the customer’s cost.

5. Returns and Refunds

5.1. All sales final: Because of the nature of the products we sell, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

5.2. Damaged or incorrect items: If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with your name, order number and a description of the issue, including photographs where relevant.

5.3. How claims are resolved: Interac e-Transfer payments cannot be reversed once accepted, so approved claims are resolved by replacement or store credit rather than by returning funds to your bank. We will confirm the outcome by email.

6. Product Information

6.1. Accuracy: We work to keep product descriptions, potency figures and images accurate, but we do not guarantee that every detail is complete or error free. Natural products vary in appearance, aroma and potency between batches.

6.2. Health: Nothing on this site is medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Speak to a healthcare professional before use, particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take prescription medication.

6.3. Safe use: Do not drive or operate machinery after use. Keep all products away from children and pets.

7. Privacy

7.1. Your information: We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7.2. Security: We take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Use of This Website

8.1. Intellectual property: All content on this site, including text, product photography, logos and graphics, is the property of BC BUD and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce or republish it without our written permission.

8.2. Prohibited activity: You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, and not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, disrupt it, scrape it or interfere with any other user’s use of it.

8.3. Reviews and submissions: Content you submit must be your own and must not be abusive, misleading or unlawful. We may remove any submission at our discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. Provided as is: The site and the products sold on it are provided without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9.2. Extent of liability: To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9.3. Indemnity: You agree to indemnify BC BUD and its staff against claims, damages and costs arising from your misuse of the site or of the products.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and the version in effect when you place an order is the version that applies to it.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
